緩やかに傾斜した多摩ニュータウンの一角に位置するこの住宅は内部、外部を問わず生活空間の広がりに重点をおいて計画された。それぞれの空間は部屋ではなく、様々な時を過ごす場としてつくられ、閉ざされていたり抜けていたり場の性格も様々である。生活が一つのシークエンスのようにこの住宅も一つの繋がったシークエンスの中にいろいろな場が設けられている。
The house, located on a slightly down slope of Tama New Town, is designed to emphasize on the expansion of living space. Each space is a place that one spends time, rather than room. There for in one place it is closed and another it is opened. As life is one sequence, in this house, many kinds of places are located in a sequence.
